Postecoglou rejects England approach, eyes Spurs glory
Ange Postecoglou has done a fantastic job in his one season at Tottenham Hotspur, and he has escalated his coaching presence as one of the best in Europe in no time.
The Australian gaffer has not only helped the Spurs fan base reunite as one but also ensured that everyone in the club is rowing the same way. This united feeling has prompted success on the pitch as the North Londoners look to add silverware to their cabinet.
Ange has introduced an attacking style of play with an attractive brand of football, which has been a breath of fresh air following the demise of enthusiasm at the club under Jose Mourinho and Antonio Conte.
The North Londoners returned to Europe following a fifth-place finish in the Premiership last season, although they couldn’t secure a Champions League place following a disappointing final run-in of the season.
These displays at Spurs inspired England to approach Ange Postecoglou for a coaching position as a Gareth Southgate replacement. However, there are no concerns at White Hart Lane about the Australian’s departure, per The Telegraph.
From Celtic to City via Tottenham?

The report further claims that the only job that could lure the former Celtic coach away from White Hart Lane would be at Manchester City. Pep Guardiola is set to call the curtains on his time at City next year, and if Spurs compound their progress under Ange, he could become one of the favourites to land a City job when the Spaniard departs.
City is definitely one of the most lucrative jobs in football, and having the availability of unlimited funds(figuratively) to make the team as per your needs sounds too good to be true.
For now, Spurs supporters and Ange should take this as a mark of progress and pride.
