Tottenham willing to offer lucrative £96,000-a-week to sign EURO champion

Chiesa to North London? Spurs plotting a sensational raid

Tottenham Hotspur are looking to fortify their interests in bringing Juventus winger Federico Chiesa to the N17 in the ongoing summer transfer window.

The North Londoners have started their transfer window on a high following the arrivals of Archie Gray from Leeds United and Lucas Bergvall joining from Djurgarden, alongside the return of Timo Werner.

Daniel Levy and Ange Postecoglou are now looking to compound on the magnificent start they have enjoyed in the window by targeting an addition to the forward line, with the Italian winger at the top of the list. Spurs have been linked with a move for Crystal Palace winger Eberechi Eze; however, they are now looking to approach Juventus’ Chiesa.

The Lilywhites are looking to land the Italian international for a cut-price fee this summer.

Now, there have been reports claiming that the North Londoners are willing to pay £96,000 a week to land the 26-year-old this summer, per Tutto Juve.

The Lilywhites are eager to recruit wide options this summer, and the fact that the EURO 2020 winner is available in a cut-price deal would be playing in Levy’s mind owing to his impeccable potential to decide games on his own.

Should Federico Chiesa make a move to White Hart Lane, he would likely slot into the left-wing position, where he would offer healthy competition to the likes of Timo Werner, Heung-Min Son, and Manor Solomon for a place in the starting eleven.

He would certainly become one of the bargains of the ongoing window if Spurs were to land his signatures at the current estimated pricing.
