Spurs look to secure Yang Min-Hyuk deal

Tottenham Hotspur are set to welcome one of the rising stars in Asian football as the North Londoners near an agreement to sign 18-year-old South Korean winger Min-hyuk Yang.

The Lilywhites are close to reaching an agreement with his current employer, Gangwon FC, and with the process almost at completion, the medical will soon follow, per ever-reliable journalist Fabrizio Romano.

Once the transfer is completed, the player will continue with his Korean employers until January 2025, which will allow him to continue his development in familiar settings before making a highly anticipated move to North London. This ensures that Min-hyuk Yang will have efficient playing time before joining Tottenham.

Tottenham fans will have an early opportunity to have a look at the 2006-born winger, as he is part of the K-League all-star team that is scheduled to face the North Londoners next week.

Yang has been highly rated owing to his performances in the Korean League. He made his K League 1 debut while he was still a high school professional player.

He also holds the record for being the youngest goal scorer in K-League 1 history. Yang has scored seven goals and provided three assists in the ongoing season.

Tottenham are bringing in another highly-rated player as they continue to build on their transfer policy. This move will also help the club strengthen its presence in the Asian market.
