Tottenham looking to land Premier League star in a bargain £40-£45m deal

Neto could be Tottenham’s marquee summer signing

Tottenham Hotspur have been looking to bring a new forward in the ongoing summer transfer window, and Wolves star Pedro Neto is one of the players on Daniel Levy’s buying list.

The speculation linking the Portuguese with a move to White Hart Lane has been going around since we started the summer window, although those links have not converted into any serious speculations just yet.

Reputed journalist Ben Jacobs, in an interview with Forest Fan TV last week, suggested that the North Londoners are looking to conclude a deal for the Wolves star for around £40-£45m this summer.

That was coupled with transfer guru Fabrizio Romano suggesting that Spurs are looking at Neto and Eze a couple of days back.

Now, Dean Jones is the latest reporter to link Tottenham’s name with Pedro Neto. He claimed that the 24-year-old’s entourage is keen on ensuring that Neto makes a move away from Molineux Stadium this summer.

He went on to suggest three clubs as possible destinations for the Portuguese: Arsenal, Liverpool, and Tottenham.

When asked about Neto’s future, Jones told Ranks FC Ultras Podcast:

“Also from Wolves, Pedro Neto, they’re still around that conversation. I do expect movement around him. It could be Tottenham; it could be Arsenal; let’s see. I’m fairly sure that his agency is trying to get him out of the Wolves this summer.”
