Tottenham near £20m deal to finalize exit of 23-year-old academy graduate

Tottenham Hotspur have been looking at a mass exodus in the ongoing summer transfer window and the club have already disposed of a certain number of players in the ongoing window to make space for new arrivals at N17.

Spurs have lost Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg and Emerson Royal as they move to Marseille and Milan respectively and are also set to lose Giovani Lo Celso as well. As the club prepare to sanction more departures, club academy graduate Oliver Skipp has also been subject to links with a move away from Tottenham.

The club is set to move another midfielder in Oliver Skipp as newly promoted Leicester City are closing in on a move for the 23-year-old maestro.

The player is set to undergo the medical in the next 24 hours and the transfer is coming to the conclusion stages soon.

Time for replacements?

It looks like the club is closing in on a mega-money sale which could take Spurs a long way as they look to reinvest the balance in the current squad and ascertain the progress at the club with marquee incomings that can raise the ceiling at White Hart Lane.

With Skipp gone, Tottenham would at least sign a new midfielder before the transfer window concludes.
