For the past week or so, talks surrounding Tottenham Hotspur’s potential move for Federico Chiesa have died down. Prior to that though, there were incessant updates that the North London club wanted to sign the player.
We covered a story around 10 days ago revealing that West Ham were going to rival Tottenham for the signature of the out-of-favour Juventus winger. That was the last that we heard of the story but there is an update now.

Juventus are desperately trying to sell the 26-year-old this summer as they look to move into a new era under ex-Bologna coach Thiago Motta. Chiesa is one of the many players that the Old Lady is looking to let go.

Speaking about Chiesa’s situation, Motta has issued yet another ‘Come get-me’ plea to clubs around the world by making his stance clear on the Italian winger [Fabrizio Romano]
“Our position on Federico Chiesa hasn’t changed. He’s not part of our plans. We’ve talked. It’s a demonstration of the respect I have for everyone. Transparency, clarity, that’s the way I communicate with my players”
Motta is doing the best that he can to try and drum up some interest in the Euro 2020 star. Once regarded as one of the most talented young Italians in world football, Chiesa is looking for a fresh start in his career.
