Jose Mourinho’s Fenerbahce plot double swoop for Tottenham players Sergio Reguilon and Giovani Lo Celso
After spending heavily over the summer to reinforce the squad, Tottenham Hotspur are expected to concentrate on offloading fringe stars on the transfer deadline day.
There have been several departures from White Hart Lane since the end of June. The likes of Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg, Eric Dier, Ryan Sessegnon, Joe Rodon, Emerson Royal, Tanguy Ndombele and a few more have already left the club in a massive clearout. According to Turkish outlet As Marca, Fenerbahce have tabled a joint offer of €15M for Giovani Lo Celso and Sergio Reguilon. New Fenerbahce boss Jose Mourinho wants to reunite with the Tottenham outcasts in Istanbul.
Fenerbahce are keen to back Jose Mourinho in the transfer market after appointing him as their new manager earlier this summer. Last summer, Fenerbahce signed Davinson Sanchez on a permanent deal from Spurs, while acquiring Ndombele on loan. This indicates the Istanbul-based club have a strong relationship with the Lilywhites.
