Tottenham Hotspur have been investing mightily in young players in the past few transfer windows as Daniel Levy and the chiefs at Hotspur Way look to create a pathway from academy to first team, which also gives space for Ange Postecoglou to develop the talents as per his linings and playing style. This will reap long-term dividends for the club.
We saw the Lilywhites sign some highly regarded prospects in the recently concluded summer transfer window, one of them being Archie Gray, who is possibly the brightest talent in the country at the moment.
Tottenham brought Archie from Leeds United in a last-minute hijack from under Brentford’s noses in a £40 million deal.
Harry Gray could follow Archie to Spurs
Now, the North Londoners are trying to pursue a move for his brother Harry Gray, per Football Insider.
Speaking in the latest episode of Football Insider’s Inside Track podcast, former Leeds United and Spurs goalkeeper Paul Robinson, who still has strings attached at Elland Road, insists that there is no prospect of an imminent deal as of now.
He goes on to explain that Harry is still fifteen and still has development ahead of him, which makes a transfer away from Leeds a highly unlikely prospect.
Harry Gray, like his brother, has been highly acclaimed within the Leeds United academy and is expected to follow in Archie’s footsteps.

Archie Gray made his first team debut at 17 and established himself as an integral part of the squad in his breakthrough season at Elland Road. Harry Gray has been tripped to do the same in the coming years.
However, concerns within Leeds are growing that the 15-year-old would move away from the Yorkshire-based club, with Tottenham watching his progress closely.
Paul speaks on the possibilities
Speaking on the Inside Track podcast, Paul Robinson said:
“Listen, he’s 15. There’s no deal to be done, really, he’s 15. Whether there was a deal to be done when Archie went or not, he’s a very similar
player from a very, very good family with a great football background.“But we’re talking about a 15-year-old who’s yet to cut his teeth in the game.
“Either way, he’s another fantastic footballer off the bread line of the Gray family.“

It would make sense for Daniel Levy to start pulling talents when they are still in their budding years. This would ensure that they get accustomed to the culture at the club and what it means to wear the Spurs badge.
We will see if Tottenham can convince Leeds to let Harry Gray move to North London.
