Tottenham Hotspur have been looking to sign highly regarded Crystal Palace midfielder Adam Wharton, and the Lilywhites have already started laying groundwork for a probable transfer as they scout the player heading into 2025.

There have been wholesale changes at White Hart Lane since Ange Postecoglou took over the reins at Hotspur Way, and apart from introducing an exciting style of play on the pitch, the Greek-born tactician has also changed the transfer approach at N17. The club under Daniel Levy now focusses on signing highly regarded young players who can make an impact in the long run.

The Lilywhites have already brought in Archie Gray, Lucas Bergvall, and Wilson Odobert in the recently concluded summer transfer window, and they are now looking at another high-ceiling player in Adam Wharton. And per report by TeamTALK, the club has been keeping a keen eye on the Crystal Palace midfielder for a while now, and this could materialize into an offer going forward for the 20-year-old midfielder, who has gone from strength to strength since breaking into the first team at Selhurst Park.

He has now established himself in the heart of the park for the Eagles, and his performances were also lauded with an England senior call-up.

This has got multiple elite sides looking to acquire his services, including Tottenham.

There is a need for a new midfielder at N17 as the club has parted ways with multiple veterans in the position over the past summer, and bringing in Wharton could prove ideal for the Lilywhites.
