Tottenham star makes January transfer call despite Ange Postecoglou’s Subtle Warning

Tottenham Hotspur rebounded from their recent loss to Brighton with an impressive 4-1 victory over West Ham United. This commanding win highlighted a cohesive team effort, with Dejan Kulusevski, Heung-min Son, and Yves Bissouma making notable contributions. As Spurs aim for Champions League qualification, Ange Postecoglou may look to strengthen his squad further in the upcoming January transfer window, building on this momentum.

Tottenham star makes January transfer call despite Ange Postecoglou's Subtle Warning.

Radu Dragusin has made a decision regarding his future at Tottenham Hotspur as the upcoming transfer window approaches. The 22-year-old defender, who joined the Lilywhites for £26.7 million from Genoa in January, has recently been linked with a potential exit due to his diminished role under Ange Postecoglou.

Dragusin’s Future at Tottenham

Dragusin has had limited opportunities this season, featuring only four times for Spurs as Cristian Romero and Micky van de Ven have solidified their status as a formidable centre-back partnership in the Premier League. Earning £85,000 per week, Dragusin has seen action in cup competitions but has struggled to make an impact. His season took a turn for the worse when he received a red card just seven minutes into Tottenham’s Europa League opener for denying a clear goal-scoring opportunity. Since then, Postecoglou has only given him a brief nine-minute appearance off the bench, raising questions about his future at the club. However, despite these challenges, reports from the Mirror indicate that the Romanian defender will not seek a move away from Spurs in January.

The report states that several Italian clubs, including Napoli, are ‘monitoring his situation closely’, but Dragusin ‘remains committed’ to the Lilywhites. After swapping the Serie A for the Premier League earlier this year, he signed a long-term contract, which keeps him in north Londoners until at least June 2030.

More Tottenham News

As Radu Dragusin continues to face challenges in securing a regular spot in Tottenham’s starting lineup, his future at the club remains uncertain. While he has shown potential since joining Spurs, the strong partnership of Romero and van de Ven has limited his opportunities. Nevertheless, Dragusin’s decision to remain at the club indicates his commitment to fighting for his place, and he will be hoping to impress Ange Postecoglou in the coming months to carve out a more significant role within the squad.
