Tottenham Hotspur have been blessed with a plethora of talents. Way off late as Daniel Levy looks to create a pipeline from the academy to Ange Postecoglou‘s roster in the long term, and the starlets coming out of the academy at the moment look exciting, with each next one getting you more amazed than the last one. And while it would be tricky to ensure that each of the players takes strides in their game with time, this is a good problem to have for the North Londoners.

We have seen the likes of Mikey Moore and Will Lankshear get some commendable minutes under their belt for the first team off late. And as they pick up some valuable senior appearances, the players at the academy look to follow in their footsteps into senior football.

John Wenham, the owner of the reputable Spurs podcast Lilywhite Rose, has name-dropped yet another young player among the Lilywhites ranks who is “one to watch out for” at Tottenham at the moment.

The podcast host insists that the club holds “huge hopes” from 17-year-old young midfielder Callum Olusesi.

Despite being a teenager yet, he has already been getting some regular minutes for the U21s, where he has already bagged three goals in six Premier League 2 appearances, and Wenham, in an exclusive interview with Tottenham News, expressed his delight with the progress that Callum is making.

He said:

“Olusesi has gone straight into the England Under-18s. He’s playing a year up and doing well. He flies under the radar because of the progress of other players. However, I know Tottenham have huge hopes for him.

“He was playing in the Youth Champions League at the age of 15, the same as Mikey Moore. He is one to watch out for, and I’m pleased that he’s getting recognition with England.”

That being said, there is still a long way to go for Callum Olusesi to make his mark for the first team; however, the Lilywhites supporters would be excited about the prospect of another highly acclaimed youngster coming through the ranks at N17.
