Tottenham dealing with injury to key attacker ahead of Aston Villa showdown.

Tottenham felt the absence of their captain, Son Heung-min, during the vital victory against Manchester City, as the South Korean winger has been dealing with a thigh issue since his last appearance against West Ham.

Currently sidelined with a Grade 2 thigh injury, Son is doubtful for the upcoming clash with Aston Villa, according to injury expert Dr Rajpal Brar. He may need to undergo a late fitness test to determine his availability for the match, having already missed the game against Manchester City on 30 October.

Spurs will face Aston Villa on 3 November at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. In an exclusive discussion with Tottenham News, Dr. Rajpal Brar, a doctor in physical therapy and a sports scientist, provided insights into Son Heung-min’s condition and the implications for the team moving forward.

The £190,000-per-week forward has been prolific in the final third for Spurs, netting three goals and providing two assists in just six league matches, proving to be a game-changer for Ange Postecoglou’s side. Since joining the club in 2015, the Tottenham legend has amassed an impressive 251 goal contributions in 416 appearances.

Hard to say if he’s a major doubt for the weekend game but he’s certainly a doubt and he may require a late fitness test.

Hopefully, he will be at 100% for the game against Villa and can lead his side to victory. However, as Dr. Rajpal has noted, we can never be too certain about his return until all concerns are cleared,
