Radu Drăgușin has been having a tricky time of late at Tottenham. After finally getting chances in recent games, the Romanian has failed to impress the onlookers.
But he still has admirers in the country he left earlier this year.
Juventus intensifying Radu Drăgușin interest for January move
As reported by Calciomercato, Juventus are considering making a move for Tottenham defender Radu Drăgușin in January.
The Bianconeri have been forced into mobilising during the January transfer market owing to the cruciate ligament injuries suffered by Juan Cabal and Gleison Bremer, both of whom are set to at least miss out on the rest of the season.
Drăgușin, who moved to North London from the Serie A just earlier this year, has been having a trying time of late. Unhappy with his game time, the Romania international has reportedly been linked with an exit, and his performances haven’t been convincing even when he has featured.
As reported by Inside Futbol, Napoli are also monitoring the 22-year-old, who is currently valued by Transfermarkt at €25 million and has at Spurs an £85k-per-week contract that runs until June 2030.
What’s the point of keeping Drăgușin?
If Spurs are going to persist with Ange Postecoglou, which is something that will come up every time Spurs drop points, the least the club can do is offer him the players that suit his style, something Drăgușin has been having trouble with.
Of course, Drăgușin is a talented operator and must have impressed Thiago Motta, the Juve boss, during his time with Genoa. It’s much likelier for him to succeed at Juve than at Spurs.
