Postecoglou has fallen out with four Tottenham players

Tottenham Hotspur boss Ange Postecoglou’s stay at the club is starting to come under pressure as the likes of Crystal Palace and Ipswich Town have beaten them in the Premier League lately, thus putting a stain on good results against Manchester City and Aston Villa. That being said, there has emerged further doubt regarding the manager, at least in the dressing room.

Football Insider has reported that Postecoglou has fallen out with four members of the team. Cristian Romero, Destiny Udogie, Guglielmo Vicario and Rodrigo Bentancur are said to be those who have lost faith in the manager. The reason behind their supposed falling out is the Australian manager’s directness in the media and behind the scenes which the players have not responded to in a very positive manner.

Having said that, it is understood that the former South Melbourne manager’s position could come under further scrutiny if the team is defeated by Manchester City next weekend. Pep Guardiola’s side welcome Tottenham next weekend after the international break and having lost four times on the bounce themselves, motivation will be at a high in the Etihad dressing room to pick up all three points.

Tottenham’s players seem to be lacking a good mentality and have big egos if a manager like Postecoglou is unable to keep a command of the squad. The 59-year-old has succeeded almost everywhere he has coached in the world, and remains a well-respected individual as well in addition to a superb coach.
