Tottenham and Arsenal to battle for Real Madrid star Brahim Diaz
A number of offensive men at Tottenham Hotspur are facing uncertain futures at the club. Timo Werner and Richarison are particularly those who could be offloaded next year while Son Heung-min, having extended his contract until June 2026, might leave thereafter to pursue a new challenge in the Middle East or the United States in the final years of his career.
With that said, it is imperative that Tottenham Hotspur take recruitment very seriously in 2025. TBR Football reports that Spurs have already lodged interest in the signing of Real Madrid forward Brahim Diaz, who has also earned interest from Arsenal. Diaz, formerly a Manchester City player, has had few minutes this season due to Kylian Mbappe, Vinicius Junior and Rodrygo Goes usurping him to primary roles.
Brahim has played just two games this season in a campaign that has been hampered by an injury for the Moroccan international, from which he has recently recovered. He delivered a strong performance for his national side in the recently concluded break, scoring a hat-trick for them.
Madrid usually don’t stand in the way of any player if he wishes to leave and may not block Brahim Diaz from leaving next summer either if he wishes to do so, although at the moment, there is little to indicate that the forward is unhappy with his role with the 15-time Champions League winners. It is also questionable whether he will be prepared to join Tottenham ahead of Arsenal, if indeed both clubs make official approaches for him.

Meanwhile, Spurs’ offer to Real Madrid might see the Whites push for the inclusion of Cristian Romero or Pedro Porro in a swap deal. The two Tottenham players have been on their radar for quite a few weeks, so it will be interesting to see what comes of any possible negotiations should the two clubs converse next year.
