Tottenham Hotspur are eyeing Hamarby winger Bazoumana Toure
Tottenham Hotspur will imminently make offensive additions in the next year or two. Timo Werner might not be associated with the club beyond this year and the same could hold true for Richarlison, if indeed he receives a decent offer to depart the Premier League. Son Heung-min has renewed his contract until 2026 but it remains to be seen how much he can offer afterwards, while Wilson Odobert has shown signs of being prone to injuries in his early days at the club.
The likes of Mikey Moore and Will Lankshear will slowly be integrated into the first team, with any new signings also expected to be younger players who might be acquired without having to break the bank. Having said that, it has emerged through Sky Sports Germany journalist Florian Plettenberg that the Lilywhites are keeping tabs on Ivory Coast star Bazoumana Toure, who is currently on the books of Swedish giants Hamarby having joined them from African outfit ASEC Mimosas earlier this year.
Apart from Spurs, there is interest in the player in a number of other sides from within England and mainland Europe as Bayer Leverkusen, Bayern Munich, Manchester United, Liverpool and RB Leipzig are all said to be having an eye on him. With nine goals and four assists to his name, the 18-year-old is expected to be the next big thing in world football and a departure for a bigger venture might only be a matter of time for the African teenage prodigy.
Tottenham already know the impact players from the Swedish league can have on the first team with Lucas Bergvall also joining from there. In Toure’s case, it remains to be seen if indeed he is prepared to join Tottenham Hotspur over the other clubs who are keen on him, including Leipzig and Leverkusen, given the opportunities they provide to youngsters to develop their careers. Amidst all the interest, Hamarby’s asking price will also pay a crucial role in determining the course of the transfer.

A move for Bazoumana Toure in the winter seems like an unlikely prospect given that he will be crucial to Hamarby’s ambitions in the second half of the campaign, especially considering his return in the final third, although matters could gain pace in the summer, particularly if he manages to keep the ongoing pace of goal contributions for the Swedish giants.
