Real Valladolid talent Raul Moro has emerged as a target for Tottenham
Tottenham Hotspur enjoyed a strong summer transfer window where Daniel Levy not only got his incomings right but also managed to offload the majority of the deadwood in the squad.
Despite investing millions in the transfer market a few months back, the chiefs at N17 have already started putting plans in place for the winter transfer window. Daniel Levy knows the importance of getting back into the Champions League and is expected to show ambition when the transfer window reopens.
According to an exclusive report from GIVEMESPORT, Tottenham have been sending scouts to watch Real Valladolid’s Raul Moro after the winger emerged as a target for Ange Postecoglou. The Greek-Australian tactician is looking at the prospect of strengthening the wide areas of his squad.
Raul Moro joined Real Valladolid permanently this season after impressing them last term while on loan from Lazio. With two goals and four assists, the youngster had played a vital role in Valladolid’s promotion to La Liga.
Already, his transition from LaLiga2 to LaLiga is looking seamless, with the Spaniard having performed well and become one of his team’s most creative outlets. The 21-year-old has three goals and an assist in 14 league games thus far.
Tottenham does have a vast array of wing options available to them in the squad at the moment, including Son Heung-min, Wilson Odobert, Brennan Johnson, Timo Werner, Richarlison and Mikey Moore. But, Son is 32 and coming to the end of his contract, Richarlison and Odobert are sidelined with injury problems and Werner continues to be hugely inconsistent.
Thus, the Lilywhites can do with another option in wide areas, and a young talent like Moro could well thrive under a manager like Ange Postecoglou at Spurs, with the 59-year-old tactician giving the youth in his squad the opportunities to go out and perform on the big stages.
The aforementioned report adds Valladolid would demand in the region of £9million if Tottenham or another of their starlet’s suitors come calling for his signature during the mid-season trading period. Liverpool are also believed to be interested in the Spanish Under-21 international, who has a contract until 2028 (Transfermarkt).

The North Londoners moving for one of their key targets in Moro during the winter transfer window could have implications on whether Werner is signed permanently, having joined on a season-long loan from RB Leipzig in June.
All in all, after carrying several scouting missions to watch the Valladolid talent this season, Spurs must table a proposal before Liverpool reacts.
