Bournemouth star Antoine Semenyo has been attracting interest from Tottenham

Tottenham Hotspur chief Daniel Levy will be looking to build on a productive summer transfer window, where the likes of Dominic Solanke, Archie Gray, Lucas Bergvall, Wilson Odobert and Timo Werner arrived at N17.

Given Spurs’ hugely inconsistent start to the season coupled with a long list of injury problems, the January transfer window has become really important for Daniel Levy and Johan Lange. The duo cannot pass up on the opportunity to reinforce the squad that has been stretched thin due to injuries and suspensions.

The Lilywhites have been linked with several players ahead of the 2025 transfer intervals, and one of those is Bournemouth’s Antoine Semenyo.

According to Football Insider, Bournemouth are prepared to entertain offers for Antoine Semenyo and they will not stand in his way if a good offer comes in. The development will come as a major boost for any club hoping to sign him.

Tottenham aren’t the only club interested in the Ghana international, with the likes of Liverpool and Newcastle United also keeping tabs. Liverpool are prepared to rival both Spurs and Newcastle and have made advances in their bid to sign the 24-year-old, who has enjoyed an excellent start to the season with Bournemouth, scoring four goals and providing one assist in 12 games so far.

The Reds are eyeing a long-term replacement for their superstar Mohamed Salah, whose contract expires at the end of June. Following the 3-2 win over Southampton in the Premier League last month, the Egyptian claimed he was “more out than in”, and admitted no formal contract offer has been made.

The Merseysiders view Semenyo as one of the names to potentially replace Salah next season. And while other teams are also looking at the possibility of signing the Bournemouth attacker, the project at Liverpool under Arne Slot makes it seem a difficult one to reject.

For Spurs, it is to be seen if the chiefs at the Hotspur Way are serious about the prospects of landing Semenyo at White Hart Lane, and if so, they must act soon and start laying grounds to have an opportunity to secure his services.
