Tottenham Hotspur strengthened their squad over the summer transfer window by adding some exciting young talents with high potential.
Daniel Levy did a great by bringing in some highly regarded talents while pushing the surplus on Lilywhites books out the door. While the rebuild will take some time, the intentions of Levy and his bosses are clear for everyone to see.
With the winter transfer window on the horizon, the Lilywhites have been linked with a host of talents across Europe. And one of them is Georgiy Sudakov.

Tottenham have been interested in Shakhtar Donetsk star Georgiy Sudakov for some time now. They have scouted the midfielder in the Europa League this season. The Ukrainian international is enjoying a fantastic season with Shakhtar Donetsk, racking up nine goals and three assists in 21 games across all competitions.
Sudakov’s performances this term, especially in the Champions League, have caught the eye of several European clubs. Tottenham and Liverpool are among those clubs vying for the creative talent’s signature.
The 22-year-old’s agent, Vadim Shabliy, revealed that in addition to the Italian sides, the Premier League clubs have now been tracking the Ukrainian.
“Georgiy is a player with a great future,” Shabliy was quoted by the Daily Mirror. “He, like most footballers, wants to try his hand at the top championships. It is absolutely normal when a player wants to grow professionally.
“Previously, Serie A giants and others were interested in him. Now, teams from the Premier League are actively showing interest in him.
“I am sure that when we are all ready to move on, Georgiy will move to a top club. We, Shakhtar and the player are open to offers. And that means there is a high probability that we will soon be able to see Georgiy in the top leagues.”

Vadim Shabliy’s recent admission is a big boost for Tottenham, who require an understudy or a possible competitor for James Maddison. The England international has had an up-and-down season, failing to repetitively produce the desired goods for Spurs. This has resulted in him being axed from the first XI as well by Ange Postecoglou.
A player of Sudakov’s creative talents, engine and dynamism would hugely enhance Postecoglou’s squad while bringing competition for Maddison. The Bryanka-born star is ready for a new adventure and could be enticed by the prospect of playing for a club like Tottenham, as Big Ange’s side competing in the Europa League as well as chasing a top-four spot in the Premier League.
