Ange Postecoglou set to hand his Tottenham Hotspur stars a holiday following Wolves draw.

Tottenham Hotspur have been looking to land a new midfielder in the upcoming 2025 transfer intervals, with the Lilywhites subject to interests in multiple maestros from around Europe, including a move for England international Angel Gomes.

The North Londoners have been left thin in the middle of the park in the ongoing campaign, especially after failing to replace Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg and Gio Lo Celso, and Daniel Levy is looking to right those wrongs when the transfer window comes around in the next calendar year.

Angel Gomes – answer to Spurs needs?

Tottenham open talks to sign Angel Gomes.
Tottenham eye 2025 Bosman deal for former Manchester United star Angel Gomes who continues to impress at LOSC Lille.

Ange Postecoglou has been screaming for a new midfielder who can do a bit of everything and fit into his grinding style of play, as the Australian head coach demands a hard-working player in his midfield. The former Celtic manager tried to bring in multiple such profiles in the previous windows, albeit to no conclusion.

However, now Tottenham are presented with an opportunity to sign a new midfielder on a free transfer as they look to bring in Man United academy graduate Angel Gomes to N17. The club has already started talks with his representatives in order to secure his signatures, per an exclusive from Graeme Bailey on TBR Football.

The Lilywhites have been struggling to maintain balance and creativity in the middle of the park this season, and Gomes, who is capable of creating something out of nothing per Arsenal icon Ian Wright, fits the bill perfectly as the Englishman brings an offensive as well as a defensive balance to the side.

The 24-year-old is known for his technical ability, vision, and work ethic, who can bring in much-needed energy and flair as a Spurs midfielder. Moreover, considering the fact that a player of his quality is available on a free transfer, it presents a huge opportunity for Daniel Levy to sign a quality player without breaking the bank.
