Tottenham Hotspur wide forward Son Heung-Min has been subject to links with a move away from White Hart Lane as his contract situation continues to drag through the mud, with the North Londoners supporters concerned about his future at the club with every passing day.
Multiple clubs from across England, Europe, and the Middle East have been looking to take advantage of the situation and land the highly regarded 32-year-old winger.
There were reports about potential talks between Spurs and the former Leverkusen ace’s representatives; however, they stated that the player and his agents aren’t happy about the fact that the North Londoners were only interested in taking up the option (already in Son’s contract) of extending his stay by one year over a potential new contract.
Son to stay at N17?
However, now The Times reports that the North Londoners now want their skipper to continue at Tottenham till he is in his late 30s. And while they have started looking for potential replacements for the ageing icon, he is still a massive asset to possess in the dressing room at N17.
The report also goes on to state that the Lilywhites have been looking at likes of Eberechi Eze, Nico Williams and Jamie Gitten to replace the left winger’s presence at White Hart Lane.
