Tottenham Hotspur centre-forward Richarlison has been a frustrating figure at Hotspur Way given his struggles with consistent injury bows that have kept him on the treatment table for a while.
The Brazilian striker who moved to White Hart Lane in a highly coveted move from Everton has struggled to find his feet in North London, and the injury problems do not help his cause. To put it into perspective, the £60m forward has only featured for 88 minutes in the ongoing 2024/25 campaign due to his spell on the sidelines.
Richarlison injury is a tricky one
And injury expert, Dr. Rajpal Brar, insists that Richy has a difficult road back to full fitness following his latest injury. He insists that the nagging hamstring issue that the former Watford man faces is a sensitive one, and his hamstrings could flare up again during his rehab or once the 27-year-old is back in training and closes in on a return.
Speaking in an exclusive interview with Tottenham news, Dr. Brar said:
“Sounds like a player who is dealing with a nagging hamstring issue, and they can be quite sensitive—whether that means it’s flaring up during rehab or after returning to training—which seems to be weeks, currently. There’s no clear-cut way to get out of injury cycles other than being very methodical with your rehab and all other habits.
“He does face a tough road ahead as he has faced issues with his fitness and rehab.“

With his consistent injury problems, Tottenham are looking to move Richy on from White Hart Lane, with any move for the 27-year-old freeing up funds as well as the wage bill to bring in a more potent and reliable striker who is consistently present and fits Postecoglou’s playing style. But for now, Richy is still a Spurs player, and we hope he returns to first-team action soon.
