Randal Kolo Muani swayed by Arsenal move over Tottenham Hotspur
With the January transfer window fast approaching, Tottenham Hotspur are expected to be busy and add a couple of players to their roster. Ange Postecoglou’s season has largely been deterred by a massive injury crisis, though with the team still very much alive in the Carabao Cup and Europa League, and getting the FA Cup underway soon, it is imperative that the squad is strengthened.
A forward’s signing has not been ruled out given the amount of injuries suffered in the final third as well. Apart from Timo Werner, every single Spurs player in the offensive department has had his share of fitness worries since the campaign began with Richarlison and Wilson Odobert particularly undergoing a troubled duration on the treatment table.

Paris Saint-Germain forward Randal Kolo Muani had emerged as a player on Tottenham Hotspur’s radar a few weeks ago. The French international is set to leave PSG sooner rather than later after falling out of Luis Enrique’s favour and the Lilywhites have been linked as his landing spot, but it has been reported by Daily Star that Kolo Muani is instead inclined towards joining Arsenal.
The Gunners are also thinking about adding a striker next year as they bid to contend for the Premier League crown yet again and Kolo Muani is one of their several targets. And while Gabriel Jesus has been in imperious form over the last couple of matches for them, there still remain doubts over the former Manchester City superstar’s long-term fitness and utility.

From Kolo Muani’s perspective, it is not hard to see why a move to Arsenal would entice him more than Tottenham Hotspur. Mikel Arteta’s side is a far better team on paper and has contended for the league title for the last two or three seasons. Additionally, there is also the likelihood of playing in the Champions League regularly, something which seems distant for Spurs at the moment.
