Milan and Juventus join the race for Tottenham target Randal Kolo Muani

Tottenham Hotspur have recently started being linked with the signing of Paris Saint-Germain forward Randal Kolo Muani, who is not a part of Luis Enrique’s plans at the Parc des Princes. The Ligue 1 side is prepared to offload the French international midway through the season, thus making way for a possible transfer to England in January itself.

Liverpool and Manchester United were also linked with the former Eintracht Frankfurt star and according to TEAMtalk (h/t PSG Talk), the Lilywhites are in for some sterner competition for their offensive target. Serie A giants AC Milan and Juventus are the latest entrants in the race to sign Kolo Muani in the winter.

Tottenham had been interested in Kolo Muani even before he was transfer-listed by Paris Saint-Germain. Spurs saw him as a potential replacement for Harry Kane after the England captain’s departure for Bayern Munich in a lucrative transfer, but a move to north London did not materialise for the World Cup silver medalist in 2023.

Milan and Juventus join the race for Tottenham target Randal Kolo Muani.

While Tottenham are back in the race for his services, it remains to be seen if there is anything different that Kolo Muani can offer. He can only play in a central role and that is not a position Spurs are in much need of strengthening, not least midway through the season and in particular with a player who has flopped in Ligue 1, which is said to be the easiest of Europe’s top five leagues.

More Tottenham Hotspur News:

Milan’s and Juve’s interest in Kolo Muani will only go on to drive up his price and increase PSG’s bargaining power in the matter, though Spurs should be among the first ones to walk away from his signing in an ideal world. Having said that, it will be interesting to see who they go for in the next few weeks with an offensive name expected to arrive in that course.
