Tottenham ended the year with a disappointing 2-2 draw against Wolves, leaving them in 11th place and intensifying fan frustration. Brennan Johnson acknowledged the difficult period the team is enduring, as they struggle through a packed schedule with a depleted squad.
Tottenham have faced challenging times following their heavy defeat to Liverpool. With multiple players sidelined, including key positions like centre-back and goalkeeper, the remaining squad has been stretched thin, playing matches every three days. The demanding schedule and depleted squad have made maintaining form increasingly difficult for Ange Postecoglou’s side.

“I think it was a nice move,” he admitted. “Rodri picked up the ball and found me in a more inside position and then I found Deki in that kind of half space. He’s so good in those positions, he stays really cool and once he lifted his head back up, I knew I was in a good position to have a really good chance and it’s just about getting a good contact on it.”
