Tottenham have extensively scouted Stuttgart star Enzo Millot this season
Tottenham Hotspur are looking for some reinforcements in this ongoing January transfer window to help Ange Postecoglou get the season back on track.
The chiefs at the Hotspur Way are expected to stay committed to their philosophy of buying young talent with high ceiling. They were among the biggest spenders in the Premier League during the past summer transfer window thanks largely to the club-record acquisition of Dominic Solanke. In addition, the North Londoners also enhanced their pool of young talents by bringing in Archie Gray, Lucas Bergvall and Wilson Odobert.
Now, according to an exclusive report from CaughtOffside, Tottenham are showing interest in Stuttgart midfielder Enzo Millot alongside bitter rivals Arsenal.
-> Blow for Tottenham as Bundesliga star not keen on January switch
Spurs’ midfield unit have been least hit by injuries as compared to their defence and attack, with only Rodrigo Bentancur serving a seven-game domestic ban for off-field matters. Yet, they have been looking to add more depth and dynamism in the middle of the park whilst bringing in much-needed competition for James Maddison.
Enzo Millot has enjoyed a rapid rise to prominence in the Bundesliga in recent seasons. Since joining Stuttgart from Monaco in 2021, the Frenchman has gone from strength to strength and become a mainstay in the first team. He has been in brilliant form this season, scoring eight goals and assisting a further five in 24 games across all competitions.
The 22-year-old’s sizzling performances in the Bundesliga have not gone unnoticed. The aforementioned report adds Tottenham and Arsenal scouts have watched Millot throughout the season and have been very impressed by his vision, ball control and offensive abilities. The North London duo are monitoring his situation at Stuttgart ahead of a possible swoop in this transfer window.
-> Report- Daniel Levy missed out on signing 17 goal Premier League star for a mere £700k
Tottenham and Arsenal have had contrasting seasons in the Premier League, although both need freshening up their squads for respective reasons. As for Spurs, Big Ange has to beef up his squad to push for European qualification. They have been in awful form in the Premier League of late, so a couple of fresh faces is the least Daniel Levy could add to Big Ange’s roster.

And a player like Millot, who can play as both an attacking and a central midfielder whilst also being deployed in the right wing, would represent a terrific long-term acquisition for Tottenham. However, the Lilywhites will need to pull a rabbit out of the hat to beat the Gunners to the Frenchman’s signature.
