Tottenham Hotspur have been subject to links with a move for Randal Kolo Muani as the chiefs at Hotspur Way look to bring in a new centre forward to support Dominic Solanke given their frustrations with the lack of availability and output of Richarlison.

Looking to pursue a deal to bring in the Frenchman, club chairman Daniel Levy, alongside director of football Johan Lange, reportedly flew to Paris to try and negotiate a deal to bring the 26-year-old to White Hart Lane. The aforementioned report also goes on to entail how the player is expected to set Spurs back around £55 million, with any potential transfer set to include a financial arrangement that would appeal to Daniel Levy and his cost-conscious approach to transfers.

And now transfer guru Fabrizio Romano has backed the possibility of the former Frankfurt striker with a North London transfer. The Italian confirmed that Tottenham have enquired about a possible move for Muani; however, he went on to further state how Juventus and other European elites are also looking at a possible move for the 26-year-old.

Writing in his column for GiveMeSport, Romano noted:

“It’s a possibility, but there are several clubs. Tottenham has asked for information, but also Juventus in Italy, for example. It’s an open race, as PSG keeps waiting for the best conditions possible.”

The fact that Levy and his team asked about the player shows how Tottenham intends to bring in some qualitative faces in the ongoing winter transfer window as the club looks to back Ange Postecoglou with players that suit his playing style despite the increasing pressure on the Australian.
