BBC Pundit namedrops Tottenham star who came out second best vs Tamworth player

Tottenham Hotspur are eyeing Andrei Ratiu to potentially replace Pedro Porro.

Pedro Porro had a rare struggling day at the weekend as Tottenham Hotspur beat non-league side Tamworth 3-0 in the extra time of the third round of the FA Cup.

Typically being consistent since his move to White Hart Lane, the Spanish international couldn’t deal with Tamworth wide forward Beck-Ray Besongbap Enoru.

Enoru, who is a sales assistant at Zara, got the better of the former Sporting CP right back in terms of the number of one-on-ones and impressed with how brave he was on the pitch despite a huge difference in professional levels.

Warnock speaks on Porro problems vs Enoru

Pedro Porro is ready to leave Tottenham Hotspur for a bigger club.
Pedro Porro had a bad game vs Tamworth

BBC Radio 5 Live pundit Stephen Warnock highlighted the Tamworth winger’s dominance over the Girona graduate during the game, stating:

“Enoru has got the beating of Pedro Porro every single time. He is happy to go inside or outside.”

Porro is one of the best right backs in the English top tier, and despite that, he was struggling to contain Enoru yesterday. That being said, it was a one-off day, and there is no doubt over his abilities and his impact on the roster at Hotspur Way. And the standout outing against a world-class opponent will be a career highlight for Enoru, who backed up himself and his technical skill.

While for Tottenham, this win sees them reach the next stage of the FA Cup, the manner of the game should serve as a warning that no opponent can be taken lightly given how the Lilywhites had to go into extra time to get the better of their lower league opponent.
