Tottenham Hotspur’s latest signing, Antonin Kinsky, has been taking to life in North London on a high following that impressive performance against Liverpool last week, where he managed to win the Lilywhites faithful hearts with his composure, footwork, and raw potential.
And compounding to his too-good outing against the Merseysiders, Spanish giants Real Madrid have been tipped to step in and take him away from N17, according to former teammate Victor Budinsky.
Antonin Kinsky tipped for Madrid

Budinsky, who lost his starting spot to Kinsky during their time together at Pardubice, spoke highly of his former teammate, backing him to eventually move to Los Blancos in a recent interview with MF DNES (via. TBR Football):
“Great boy. Already at the first training session it was clear that he was different. Strong in the head, healthy, confident and purposeful. He can be even higher in three years.
“At Real Madrid. Plus, he is learning Spanish, he’ll be ready, he won’t get lost there.
“When Tonda (Kinsky) came to us in Pardubice from Vyskov, who were playing in the second league, many would not have said that he would be in the Premier League within two years.
“And yet, I think Tottenham is an intermediate step for him, that an even bigger club is waiting for him.”
Tottenham could only be a stepping stone to Kinsky’s career, insists Budinsky, who suggested that the Czech may quickly graduate to one of Europe’s elite clubs given his massive potential.
Rubbing shoulders with Vicario to start at N17
A commanding performance against Liverpool means Kinsky will fill a gap in the Lilywhites backline left by injured Guglielmo Vicario as he attempts to make a case for more first-team opportunities even when the Italian is back in contention.
Vicario is set to come back from injury and will be competing with Tottenham’s winter arrival for the number one spot.
Moreover, Kinsky’s shining has come during pressure, especially in dealing with opposition corners, a known (and criticised) problem for Vicario, and his further development only serves to improve Spurs’ depth in goal.
Tottenham supporters will hope that Kinsky can be retained at N17 for the long term, and despite his growing reputation as a top talent, the North Londoners could rub shoulders with Europe’s biggest clubs.
