Tottenham Hotspur have been looking to bring in a new midfielder in the ongoing winter transfer window, and the Lilywhites have been aggressively linked with a move for Inter Milan midfielder Davide Frattesi, and per TV Play, the North Londoners are prepared to offer £26 million for the 25-year-old Italian maestro.
Ange Postecoglou has been looking to bring in a new midfielder this January given how the Australian head coach is light in options in the middle of the park following Daniel Levy’s failure to bring in replacements for Gio Lo Celso and Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg, both of whom departed White Hart Lane in the previous summer window.
And in Frattesi the North Londoners can bring in an option that adds a different dynamic to the current roster with his technical ability and quality.
Frattesi in; Bissouma out?

Former Lilywhites scout Bryan King now suggests that Levy should consider a potential player-plus-cash deal involving Yves Bissouma to secure the Italian’s services.
Speaking in an exclusive interview with Tottenham News, he said:
“That would certainly be an interesting player [Frattesi] to bring to the club. However, it would most likely mean a midfielder already at Tottenham – such as Bissouma – probably moving on, or perhaps even being included as part of the deal.
“Who knows, maybe if Bissouma wants a fresh start, and Frattesi does too, Spurs could offer Bissouma plus cash to Inter Milan.”
The proposed swap by King could prove excellent for Tottenham as they add Frattesi to the roster while addressing their need for greater creativity and control in games. Meanwhile, for Bissouma, a move to Italy could provide the fresh start that he needs to reignite his career given his struggle to find form on a consistent basis at N17.

It is to be seen where this rumour goes from here, but the fact that there is a possibility that the Lilywhites bring the Italian to White Hart Lane should be something that Tottenham supporters would be looking forward to doing.
