Juventus striker Dusan Vlahovic has been offered by his agent to Tottenham
Tottenham Hotspur have yet to add an outfield player during this winter window but remain eager to secure a new forward before the transfer deadline on February 3.
Spurs missed out on the signing of Paris Saint-Germain striker Randal Kolo Muani on loan to Serie A side Juventus. It was a seismic blow for Ange Postecoglou as Kolo Muani’s profile would have been ideal in this system, especially due to his versatility to play on the left and through the middle as a No.9.
Reputed Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano revealed earlier this week that the North London club are “privately working” on a forward signing. Injuries to Dominic Solanke, Timo Werner, Brennan Johnson and Wilson Odobert have significantly depleted Ange Postecoglou’s frontline, and Spurs are now expected to find remedies to their problems in the final two weeks of the window.

Amidst Postecoglou’s hunt for a new forward, Italian outlet La Stampa (h/t Sport Witness) reports Juventus striker Dusan Vlahovic’s agent is auctioning him in front of several European clubs including Tottenham.
Dusan Vlahovic has started the last two games on the bench including the 0-0 draw with Club Brugge in the Champions League earlier this week. It is not due to any injury but coach Thiago Motta’s tactical choice. The Serbian does not feature in Motta’s plans, and the imminent arrival of Kolo Muani on loan from PSG could put his position at Juventus further into obscurity.
Keeping that in mind, perhaps, Darko Ristic—the striker’s agent—has been trying hard to find a new home for the player. The aforementioned report adds (h/t Sport Witness) that he is trying to ‘keep contacts alive’ with clubs such as Tottenham, Chelsea, Arsenal and Paris Saint-Germain.

As for Tottenham, it would be an extremely ambitious move given their position on the Premier League table. Solanke now being ruled out for weeks means Big Ange only has Richarlison as his striker option available, although there is no guarantee the Brazilian will stay fit as he has struggled with injuries this season and only returned to the squad earlier this month.

If the Hotspur Way chiefs can somehow convince Vlahovic to join Big Ange’s forces on a dry loan until the end of the season, it will represent a massive coup of sorts. However, with clubs like PSG, Arsenal and Chelsea also in the mix, it appears unlikely.
