Tottenham Hotspur manager Ange Postecoglou has come out with the latest on the injury of the Lilywhites striker Dominic Solanke, giving the North Londoners supporters a rather clearer picture of the expected recovery timeline, especially given how the 2024/25 season has been a toughie at White Hart Lane with injuries being a showcasing highlight of the campaign. The Australian head coach has seen a mighty list of players serving the treatment table, and given the lack of depth of the roster at N17, it has forced the former Celtic manager to rely on young players and makeshift solutions to fill gaps.
To put things into perspective, heading into yesterday’s Europa League game against Hoffenheim, Spurs found themselves with only 12 senior players available, which is a clear indication of the challenges that the club has faced.
Now the latest of the integral players to get injured was Dominic Solanke, with the England international suffering from a muscular injury during training, which has left Postecoglou scrambling for alternatives.
Ange gives Dominic Solanke update

And after the 3-2 win over the German side, the Australian provided an update on Solanke, indicating that the Spurs summer signing will face six weeks on the sidelines; however, the good news for Tottenham fans is the fact that he will not require surgery.
Speaking in the presser following yesterday’s game, Postecoglou said (via. football.london):
“With Dom, the information now is around the six-week mark with him. No surgery, but we are looking around six weeks. It might be quicker, but we will see.”
