Tottenham Hotspur have ample young players at their disposal at White Hart Lane, and Daniel Levy, alongside the chiefs at N17, needs to ensure that the development of all the starlets reaches heights, and they recently recalled centre forward Dane Scarlett from his loan at Oxford United given the lack of game time in the first half of the campaign.
While with the injury to Dominic Solanke, the 20-year-old may get a run in the first team (at least temporarily); however, there is certainly another loan move expected for him before the conclusion of the January transfer window, given citing a report by Lilywhites correspondent Alasdair Gold via X suggesting that the Spurs academy graduate is expected to continue his development on the road.
Wenham praises Tottenham decision to recall Scarlett

Now, John Wenham, owner of the reputed Tottenham podcast Lilywhite Rose, praised the North Londoners over the decision to recall Scarlett while insisting that the academy product is already in talks with other clubs over a possible loan transfer.
Speaking in an exclusive interview with Tottenham news, Wenham said:
“It will definitely be another loan for Scarlett. It is just about finding the right club where he is guaranteed game time. I’m glad that Spurs recalled him because when Oxford changed managers, I noticed that his game time suddenly decreased.
“Therefore, I’m pleased the club didn’t sit on the decision and was proactive about bringing him back. I’m sure he is already in talks to join another club on loan.”
Wrexham has been emerging as a potential destination for Scarlett. At the moment, the priority for him should be finding a club where he is guaranteed regular game time under his belt, given how he has had underwhelming loan spells on the trot.
