Tottenham Hotspur have been looking to bring in a new striker in the ongoing winter transfer window given how the Lilywhites have been looking to fill in for Dominic Solanke with his recent injury, and they had been linked with bringing Feyenoord striker Santiago Gimenez to White Hart Lane; however, the Mexican has reportedly opted to rather pursue a move to AC Milan.
The 23-year-old forward is reportedly favouring a move to Italian giants over a move to N17, per the latest report by Tottenham News.
The North Londoners have already lost out on bringing Randal Kolo Muani to Hotspur Way, who joined Juventus on loan amid extensive links with a move to the Premier League heavyweights. And now it looks like Daniel Levy is set to fail in securing Gimenez.
Gimenez heading to Milan as Tottenham start to look out for alternatives

Santiago Gimenez has been an integral part of the current Feyenoord roster since moving to the Dutch side from Cruz Azul in 2022. The Adidas athlete has scored 15 goals and laid three assists in 18 league appearances for Feyenoord this season, which has led to an abundance of elite clubs chasing his services, and it looks like AC Milan will be getting their hands on the striker and not the Lilywhites despite their urgent need for a centre forward.
