Postecoglou confronts Tottenham fan as crisis calls at N-17 after Leicester defeat

Roy Keane believes European results will dictate Postecoglou future at Tottenham.

Tottenham Hotspur head coach Ange Postecoglou has been enduring a difficult season at White Hart Lane, with the North Londoners supporters getting frustrated with results in the ongoing campaign, and the pressure on his shoulders will continue to rise after the Lilywhites 2-1 home defeat to Leicester City on Sunday.

That being said, the loss against the Foxes will mark Spurs’ 13th defeat in the English top tier this season, which leaves Tottenham at 15th in the Premier League table, just above the relegation zone, and they could further end up slipping to 16th if Everton wins their game in hand.

This has deepened the frustrations among the supporters with criticism aimed not only at the Australian head coach but also at chairman Daniel Levy.

Ange at odds with fans yet again…

Coach Ange Postecoglou has given a big update on Tottenham Hotspurs' transfer scenarios this winter transfer window.

And in the aftermath of the defeat against Leicester City, a section of frustrated fans voiced their anger towards the former Celtic manager, with one fan reportedly shouting, “We’re going down with you,” as Postecoglou made his way down the tunnel after full time. And in the video shared on X (formerly Twitter) by THFCReports, you could see Postecoglou appeared to engage with the fan, which further shows the strain on the 59-year-old.

Moreover, this isn’t the first time he has been in verbal disagreements with fans, and such incidents will risk having supporters against him and his side, particularly in what is a difficult season at N17.

This confrontation in the video shows that Ange is now under a lot of pressure.
