Tottenham Hotspur have been looking to bring in a new striker at White Hart Lane in this January window given how the Lilywhites have suffered a major blow in losing Dominic Solanke at such a critical stage of the season, and now for the second time in two windows, Daniel Levy is out looking for strikers, with the North Londoners said to be actively pursuing a move for Rangers striker Hamza Igamane as a potential solution to the current attacking and injury problems.
According to a report from transfer correspondent at TBR Football, Graeme Bailey, Tottenham have been monitoring the Moroccan forward’s performances complemented by his progress for a while and are now considering a probable transfer before the February 3rd winter transfer window deadline.
Ange Postecoglou has lost Dominic Solanke for six weeks, and given how Tottenham lacks a reliable backup (Richarlison is back from injury, but his availability concerns mean he cannot be considered in the bracket), Levy needs to bring in a fresh face at Hotspur Way.
Igamane has been impressing this season

The 22-year-old Moroccan international has enjoyed an impressive debut season at Rangers after signing from FAR Rabat for just £1.7 million last summer, with 13 goals complementing three assists in 27 appearances. To put into highlight, Igamane’s performances in the Europa League have caught the attention of scouts, in particular with his four goals in the competition exceeding the aggregates of Son Heung-min and Dominic Solanke in the competition.
However, to land on his services, Tottenham are set to face competition from multiple Premier League rivals, including Newcastle, Aston Villa, Brighton, Brentford, Fulham, and Everton, with Rangers reportedly bracing for offers.
