Rosenborg talent Sverre Nypan is on the radar of Tottenham
Tottenham Hotspur have been looking to work out deals going into the last week of the winter transfer window, and Daniel Levy may end up bringing in a surprise signing.
One of Europe’s most exciting young players, Sverre Nypan has made waves since coming through the youth ranks at Rosenborg. There are many clubs—in England and Europe—who want to get their hands on the Norwegian wonderkid.
According to an exclusive report from TBR Football, Tottenham are among a host of clubs interested in signing Rosenborg midfielder Sverre Nypan. Spurs’ Premier League rivals Arsenal and Manchester City have joined the transfer race for the teenage prodigy.

Nypan recently watched Manchester City beat Chelsea 3-1 at the Etihad Stadium, while he has already held talks with Arsenal. It looks like the midfielder is weighing up his options carefully before choosing his next destination. He may want to finalise a deal as quickly as possible, as the new Norwegian league kicks off in April.
Judging by the calibre of clubs interested in the Rosenborg midfielder, it would be safe to say he is now a highly sought-after talent. Spurs have been focused on acquiring young talents from Europe and Asia in recent years, as evidenced by the recruits of Archie Gray, Lucas Bergvall, Wilson Odobert, Yang Min-hyeok, Destiny Udogie and Pape Matar Sarr.
Tottenham has struggled this season, and while there have been injury problems in both defence and attack, their midfield has lacked quality to control football games. The team has been in dire need of a player who can control the midfield and provide a creative spark going forward. Nypan could be the perfect player to fill that void.

At 18, the Trondheim-born talent has been a key player for Rosenborg, racking up 13 goals and 11 assists in 60 appearances thus far. If Tottenham can sign Nypan, he would bring a new dimension to the team’s midfield. His ability to control the game, create chances, and score goals would make him a valuable asset for Ange Postecoglou’s side.

Despite the competition for the Rosenborg talent’s signature, Spurs must do everything in their power to sign the player. Rated at around £10milllion, our club should not let a talent like Nypan get away.
