The Lilywhites have been looking to bolster their forward line in the ongoing winter transfer window, and Daniel Levy has been considering multiple options in order to do so, with Brentford forward Yoane Wissa being one of them. However, despite links to Tottenham Hotspur, Brentford are unwilling to part ways with the 28-year-old, according to Ekrem Konur.
Ange Postecoglou has been struggling to cope with injuries, with Dominic Solanke being the latest to take up a bed in the treatment room, with the England international set for a spell on the sidelines until mid-March, which has emerged as a huge blow for the former Celtic manager. Beyond Solanke, Brennan Johnson is also sidelined for a few weeks with injury, joining other forward players Timo Werner and Wilson Odobert in the injury room.
Injury has Tottenham scraping for a forward, Wissa & Tel among options

And now the Australian head coach is actively searching for a versatile forward to bolster his squad, and the Congolese international has been in outstanding form in the ongoing campaign with a mighty contribution of 12 goals and a couple of assists in 24 appearances. He has been among the options.
However, with the Bees reluctant to sell him in the ongoing January window, Levy might have to pivot to someone else. With Mathys Tel potentially available given his current playing time situation at Bayern Munich, Levy may shift his focus away from Wissa to the Frenchman.
