Tottenham Hotspur head coach Ange Postecoglou has been under massive pressure in the ongoing campaign given the difficult campaign that the North Londoners have been enduring. The Australian head coach has been under the wrath of a possible sack given how the Lilywhites have been struggling to put up consistent performances this season, with their league defeat against Leicester City being their 13th defeat of the league season.

Injuries and the struggle to cope up at N17

Spurs have been dealt with difficult cards this season given the fact that the majority of their players have been on the receiving end of injuries, and the lack of depth has shown on the field. Integral players at N17 like Cristian Romero, Micky van de Ven, and Guglielmo Vicario have been serving the sidelines for a while, and the likes of Son Heung-min, Richarlison, and Destiny Udogie have also been attending the treatment room at one point or another.

While many supporters are calling for a change with Ange Postecoglou to be shown the door, the Lilywhites wide forward cum midfielder Dejan Kulusevski has come in support of the Australian head coach.

Speaking with Football.London, the Swede said:

“Because we had games when we showed perfect football. Football that not many teams can play in the world. We played beautiful games against United and against City, winning 4-0, so I think he is the right man.

“We play for him. We want to win for him, and to be honest, we have similar ideas. I am very positive as a guy, and I always want to play that football he wants. I have to fight for him because I believe in that football too. Yes, I think he’s the right man.”
