Daniel Levy has been scraping for a forward in the ongoing January transfer window, with Southampton sensation Tyler Dibling being part of plans at White Hart Lane going into the transfer deadline day. The Lilywhites hold significant interest in bringing the silky forward to White Hart Lane; however, the Saints (and their asking price) are a stumbling block for any transfer to materialise.
Though in order to ease any possible transfer, Southampton did ask for highly-rated North Londoners academy graduate Tyrese Hall in a cash-plus-swap deal that would bring Dibling to N17.
The Lilywhites are said to have had “concrete talks” with Tyler Dibling’s management over a possible move to N17.
Wenham speaks on rumours involving Hall for a potential Dibling transfer

However, despite the rumours, John Wenham, owner of the reputed Spurs podcast Lilywhite Rose, is of the opinion that Hall will not be included in any deal that would bring Dibling to White Hart Lane.
Speaking in an exclusive interview with Tottenham News, Wenham said:
“It is Southampton who have internally discussed this possibility. Therefore, it doesn’t seem as though there has been any encouragement from Spurs about including Hall. Tottenham only recently handed him a five-year contract.
“Hall is incredibly highly regarded at Tottenham. As a result, I think he’s more likely to head out on loan in the coming days, and then I expect he will flourish and there will be interest in a far higher loan next season. Therefore, while Southampton might be interested, I don’t imagine Tottenham will entertain any thoughts of letting him go.”
A sure deal or prospects of surety…
Tyrese Hall is a highly rated academy prospect at Hotspur Way and has been backed to depart on a potential loan deal to attain some first-team football this January; however, with a potential swap deal proposed, it is to be seen if Daniel Levy values Hall enough to walk away from the deal or consider a pure money transfer.
Though from a Tottenham supporter perspective, given how Dibling has been performing this season, any deal that brings him to N17 needs to be seriously considered, given how he is a sure deal, and we still don’t know if Hall is going to make it big in the Premier League.
