Tottenham Hotspur wide forward Heung-Min Son has been subject to a lot of uncertainty going around his future at White Hart Lane despite the North Londoners taking up the option to extend his contract for a further year. A wide section of the Lilywhites faithful feel that the extension from Daniel Levy & Co. is only to protect the South Korean’s value, and there are still possibilities of a potential exit.
However, Fanatik insists that Spurs will definitely not sell the South Korean international in the ongoing winter transfer window despite Turkish giants Fenerbahce being linked with a potential move for the 32-year-old veteran.
Tottenham supporters can breathe a huge sigh of relief given the fact that he will continue at White Hart Lane at least until the end of the season.
Fener interest in Son is not a surprise, is it?

Fenerbahce’s interest isn’t a surprising prospect given the fact that former Lilywhites boss Jose Mourinho is in charge there, and the Portuguese, knowing Son’s quality, would definitely want to get his hands on his former player.
Son has been one of the most potent wingers in the Premier League since he moved to North London from Bayer Leverkusen and has proved his credentials time and time again. And given how Fenerbahce are second in the Turkish league behind Galatasaray, getting a player of Son’s calibre would have boosted their chances of taking up the title.
Now for Tottenham and Son, it’s about ensuring that they see off the season in a positive way, possibly with silverware, and sit down about the situation when the summer window comes around.
