Daniel Levy and Ange Postecoglou have been scrapping for forwards in the ongoing winter transfer window, with the North Londoners being linked with a move for a lot of different profiles, with one of them being Chelsea’s silky forward Joao Felix.
Felix is one of those players who could change the game in one moment of brilliance, and the Australian head coach was looking to bring in someone who can not only play in the striking role but also in pockets and in between the opponent’s pressing lines. However, the Lilywhites wouldn’t be signing the Blues ace with the Portuguese already off to Italy.
The Portuguese forward will be heading to AC Milan with transfer guru Fabrizio Romano insisting that he would play at San Siro on a vanilla loan deal without any option to buy, with the Serie A giants covering all of the player’s salary. The player is all set for his medical on the deadline day before the documents are exchanged.
No Felix, but there is Tel

For Tottenham, there has been a dire need for a new face in the forward line given how Postecoglou missed all of Dominic Solanke, Wilson Odobert, James Maddison, Brennan Johnson, and Timo Werner in Spurs’ win over Brentford last weekend. However, even if it’s not Felix, Daniel Levy has delivered with the American businessman bringing in Mathys Tel to White Hart Lane for the second half of the season.
Tel will come to N17 on a plain loan deal as well without any option or obligation in the contract.
