Tottenham Hotspur have been vying for a new forward in the ongoing winter transfer window, with a centre forward being among the priorities after Dominic Solanke picked up an injury that will keep him on the sidelines for a decent spell, and the Lilywhites have been subject to links with multiple centre forwards, with Lorient striker Eli Junior Kroupi under consideration at White Hart Lane, per a recent exclusive by Transfer Insider.
Daniel Levy had been looking to move for a new striker all January window long, but no move materialised with Randal Kolo Muani and Mathys Tel among the duo that were extensively linked to N17.
But now Daniel Levy has been vying for a move to bring a player playing in the French second tier with Lorient, and the report states that they wouldn’t mind selling Eli for the right fee, which is stated to be around £20m.
However, despite the reports, it’s said that the Lilywhites cannot afford to put through such fees for a player that is seen for the future.
The teenager has been enjoying a wonderful breakthrough season at Lorient, inspiring them to the summit of Ligue 2.
Tottenham are not alone in Eli Junior Kroupi race

However, that being said, the North Londoners aren’t the only suitors, with German giants RB Leipzig said to be ‘very keen’ on landing his signature. And Spurs Premier League rivals Bournemouth are also said to be keen for the starlet.
There have also been reports suggesting Graham Potter is looking at the 18-year-old as a possible attacking option at West Ham.
That being said, he has scored 9 goals for Lorient this season, and Ange Postecoglou could definitely use some of them. Now it is to be seen if the North Londoners and Levy would consider bringing him to White Hart Lane for the quoted price tag.
