Daniel Levy erupted into his negotiation self on the deadline day with the club chairman completing a highlight deal for bringing Bayern Munich sensation Tel to White Hart Lane, and now as a cherry on the cake, the North Londoners have announced Russell Denney from Chelsea.

Taking to X, Romano noted that the Lilywhites have completed a move for England Under-19s midfielder in what was a late winter window move by Spurs with an official confirmation from the clubs coming on 4 February.

While he was yet to make his senior debut for Chelsea, Russell Denney has come through the ranks at Cobham, playing through the Under-17s, Under-18s, and Under-19s levels. And this move can see Tottenham nurture his talent in the academy and make him a first-team-ready talent.

This move is very much in line with the transfer strategy that Daniel Levy has adapted at Hotspur Way of late, bringing in highly regarded talents that have the capacity of making it to the very top and aiding their potential within the corridors of Hotspur Way.
