It was a winter window of transfer option roulette at White Hart Lane with Daniel Levy eyeing multiple players and moving through targets before ending up with Bayern Munich sensation Mathys Tel at N17, and one of the players that the North Londoners looked to bring to Hotspur Way was Chelsea ace Joao Felix.
In fact, it was not only Tottenham Hotspur; the Lilywhites, alongside Premier League rivals Manchester United, expressed interest in trying to get their hands on the Portuguese international during the recently concluded winter transfer window.
Felix makes summer decision amid Tottenham links

Joao Felix moved to Stamford Bridge in the last summer window, and with him came high expectations in West London given that the Blues signed him for a hefty £45 million fee; however, his time in England had been marked by a series of underwhelming performances complemented by limited playing time under Enzo Maresca.
And Daniel Levy looked to take advantage of his situation at Chelsea given how Felix can slot in across the front three and given the struggling performances of Richarlison and Timo Werner; bringing in Felix could have provided a much-needed spark to Ange Postecoglou’s side. And quite similarly, for Ruben Amorim, with the departures of Antony and Marcus Rashford, the Portuguese coach would have benefitted from adding a dynamic attacker like Felix to the squad at Old Trafford.
However, Felix moved to AC Milan on a loan deal. And now, transfer correspondent at TBR Football, Graeme Bailey, insists that the former Atlético Madrid forward has been looking to make his move to San Siro a permanent prospect in the summer window despite interest from Spurs and United.
Playing in Italy, where he can express his flair and flourish, could help Felix rejuvenate his career, and it does look like a right move on paper.
