Daniel Levy had been eyeing a new forward in the recently concluded winter window, with the Lilywhites looking to add more depth and dynamism to Ange Postecoglou’s roster, and they identified Bournemouth wide forward Antoine Semenyo as a possible target for 2025 transfer intervals.
Semenyo, a thing of interest among PL giants

The 23-year-old Ghanaian has been playing some splendid football in the English top tier this season, and that has piqued interest from a few English tier elites like Arsenal and Liverpool, alongside Tottenham Hotspur. And Bournemouth are trying desperately to keep hold of him; while they did succeed in the winter window, it will be really tough to keep hold of him when summer comes around.
And while Levy and other clubs look at the winger, high-spending West Londoners Chelsea are reportedly looking to secure Antoine Semenyo’s signature and are ready to justify their interest with a possible €50 million, per Fichajes.
Interest from Chelsea for Semenyo doesn’t come as a surprise given how Enzo Maresca loves versatile players who are not only capable with the ball but also hard workers off the ball.
€50m enough?
Though the reported €50 million bid may end up not being enough to tempt Iraola’s side into selling, given how the Cherries themselves are on course for a possible European finish.
However, with clubs like Chelsea, it’s always a money game. We will see where this goes. But Tottenham are monitoring the situation and could end up making a deal for the winger if there is a deal that could be made.
