Liverpool star could quit Anfield in the summer; Tottenham remain keen

Liverpool goalkeeper Caoimhin Kelleher has been linked with a move away from Anfield, with his future increasingly uncertain following the imminent arrival of Giorgi Mamardashvili from Valencia. The 26-year-old is set to drop further down the pecking order once the Georgian shot-stopper completes his move to L4 at the end of the season.

Given the circumstances, a departure appears to be the best solution for all parties—allowing Liverpool to secure a transfer fee while giving Kelleher the opportunity to play regularly elsewhere.

According to Football Insider, Kelleher, who will have just 12 months remaining on his contract at the end of the season, is unlikely to sign an extension with the Reds. With first-team opportunities likely to be even more limited, the Irish goalkeeper is expected to seek a move away from Merseyside in search of regular game time.

Chelsea, Tottenham Hotspur, and Newcastle United are all keeping a close eye on Republic of Ireland international Caoimhin Kelleher as a potential summer signing.

For Chelsea, the search for an upgrade on Robert Sanchez continues, and Kelleher could provide a viable solution if he maintains his impressive form at Anfield. The Blues are keen to strengthen their goalkeeping department, and the 26-year-old’s availability makes him an appealing option.

Newcastle United, meanwhile, are exploring alternatives to Nick Pope, who has struggled with injuries. Kelleher’s shot-stopping ability and composure make him a strong candidate to step into the Magpies’ setup if they decide to reinforce their goalkeeping ranks.

As for Tottenham, Daniel Levy recently brought in Antonin Kinsky during the winter transfer window, making a move for Kelleher seem unlikely. However, given Vicario’s occasional struggles with dead-ball situations and Vinski still needing time to develop, Spurs could still consider the Irish goalkeeper if the opportunity presents itself.
