Tottenham are planning a summer move for AC Milan midfielder Yunus Musah
Tottenham Hotspur managed to reinforce the goalkeeping, defence and forward positions in the recently concluded winter transfer window but there is still work to be done in the upcoming summer.
After acquiring goalkeeper Antonin Kinsky’s signature, the club upped the ante in the final days of the window and wrapped up loan deals for defender Kevin Danso and forward Mathys Tel from RC Lens and Bayern Munich, respectively. The midfield unit was not considered an immediate need for strengthening but it is something the Hotspur Way chiefs are planning to do so when the transfer window reopens in the summer.
According to a report from Milan Live, Tottenham are interested in signing AC Milan midfielder Yunus Musah. They are closely following the USA international, who has become a regular at AC Milan since the appointment of Sergio Conceicao.

The midfielder signed for Milan from Valencia in the summer of 2023 and made 40 appearances in his debut season in Italy. Yunus Musah was not performing consistently this season until Conceicao took charge of the club. Since then, the New York-born talent has flourished in the Portuguese tactician’s system, starting the last four Serie A games.
The 22-year-old has found continuity at San Siro, which is good news for the Rossoneri chiefs who have always shown faith in his ability, so much so that they rejected Napoli’s offer during the January transfer window. However, Spurs have now entered the conversation for Musah, who still has three years left on his contract (Transfermarkt).
Tottenham could do with the addition of a new midfielder ahead of the 2025/26 season. Yves Bissouma has underwhelmed this season, and with his contract expiring in 2026, the club may decide to cash him in this summer. If they decide to part ways with the Mali international, Musah could be Bissouma’s ideal long-term replacement at White Hart Lane.

The former Arsenal academy talent has the ideal characteristics to succeed playing under Ange Postecoglou, given how the Greek-Australian head coach loves tenacity and dynamism in his aggressive and attacking playing style. Spurs can get a player who can carry the ball while also placing pinpoint passes into the vertical runs of the forwards.
As Musah has become an important cog in Conceicao’s side, it would be difficult for Tottenham to lure him back to North London in the summer. Our club may well have to pay over the odds to bag his services.
