Tottenham open to offloading Manor Solomon permanently in the summer
Tottenham Hotspur were successful in offloading the majority of the deadwood during the last summer transfer window.
A lot of underperforming stars and fringe players were either sold, released or loaned out to create space in Ange Postecoglou’s roster for fresh blood. Manor Solomon was one of those, as the club decided to loan him out to Championship outfit Leeds United.
The Israel international endured a difficult start to life at Leeds United. A minor hamstring injury, coupled with the strong depth the Whites have in the wing department, stopped him from establishing himself in the starting XI. Over the busy Christmas period and the New Year, though, it seems like Manor Solomon has found his feet at the club.

The diminutive attacker has started 17 of his 27 games across all competitions for Daniel Farke’s side thus far, scoring seven goals and providing eight assists. He bagged a goal and an assist in Leeds’ big 4-0 away win over Watford, as Farke and Co. went five points clear at the top of the Championship table.
The performance at Watford on Tuesday evening was another reminder of the Israeli attacker’s quality; however, he might not have a future at Tottenham. According to an exclusive report from GIVEMESPORT, Solomon will ‘likely be allowed to move on permanently’ if the opportunity arises in the summer.
Postecoglou sanctioning a loan move for Solomon before the start of the 2024/25 campaign was enough of an indicator to suggest that he doesn’t have a future under him at Spurs. The 25-year-old endured a terrible time with injuries at White Hart Lane, which limited him to only six appearances. Thus, it was felt a move away from the club could help him rejuvenate his career, and the plan has worked wonders.

The Kefar Sava-born talent has become indispensable for Farke, forming an outstanding partnership with fellow winger Dan James. The impressive form of Solomon and James has kept both Willy Gnonto and Largie Ramazani—two quality wingers—relegated to backup roles over the past two months at Elland Road.
Given the attacking talent at Ange Postecoglou’s disposal, Solomon is unlikely to have a long-term future at N17. As a result, Tottenham’s chiefs will be pleased to see the winger getting regular minutes in the English second tier and revitalizing his career. It’s no surprise that the Israeli international has become a player Leeds fans want to see remain at the club beyond the expiry of his loan spell.

After a strong start to 2025, the Elland Road hierarchy may prioritize securing Solomon on a permanent deal from Spurs, especially if they secure promotion to the top flight. Tottenham should be in a good position to negotiate a favourable deal for Solomon should Leeds return to the Premier League next season.
