Tottenham Hotspur travel to Portman Road to take on Ipswich Town on Saturday in the Premier League
Tottenham Hotspur are set to travel to Portman Road Stadium on Saturday afternoon as they gear up to face Ipswich Town.
Ange Postecoglou‘s side are looking for revenge after they lost 2-1 to Ipswich Town at home in November, with Rodrigo Bentancur’s second-half goal proving not to be enough to avoid a major shock. They are now in a different space compared to then as Spurs head to East Angelia on the back of back-to-back Premier League wins.
The Lilywhites’ confidence should be high after beating Manchester United 1-0 at home last Sunday. It was not a massive achievement given how poor Man United are, but winning breeds confidence and that is something our players must build on during the trip to Ipswich.

The Tractor Boys are embroiled in a relegation battle, currently occupying the 18th spot. Kieran McKenna’s side will be hoping to complete a league double over Ange Postecoglou and Co. as they fight tooth and nail to maintain their top-flight status.
Ahead of the weekend clash, former Spurs boss Harry Redknapp has dropped his score prediction. He has backed Dejan Kulusevski to make a difference for Tottenham at Portman Road.
“What a fantastic point that was for Ipswich away at Aston Villa. Let’s face it, I don’t think many gave them much of a chance before the game, let alone with 10 men! That shows they’ve still got belief and are still up for the fight of staying up,” Harry Redknapp told exclusively to BetVictor Casino (h/t SpursWeb).
“Tottenham got a vital win over Manchester United, but I’ve got to be honest, it was hardly a classic. At this stage, wins are all that matter for Spurs but they’re a long way off those European positions.
“I think Spurs will just have too much, but Ipswich will give them a real game here. One to watch – I think Dejan Kulusevski has been Spurs’ best player this season by a country mile. Most of the good things they do come through him.”

Spurs have looked less of an attacking threat in some recent matches and this could be due to injuries and some senior players hitting lean patches. Tottenham’s standout performer this season, Dejan Kulusevski has chiefly contributed with goals and assists consistently from a central midfield role. However, his form has dipped of late with the player looking exhausted in recent games.
This has perhaps hampered the attacking threat Big Ange’s side generally carries in every game. It also demonstrates how crucial Kulusevski has been for the Lilywhites amid an injury-ravaged campaign. Hopefully, the return of Maddison and Johnson from injury share some of the creative burden from the Swede star’s shoulders.

Kulusevski needs to get back to the levels he showed at the start of the season and the game at Ipswich gives him the chance to do that. He can be a difference-maker on Saturday and help Spurs beat Kieran McKenna’s side.
